Working within an interdisciplinary framework to create project-based installations and performances, Gerard & Kelly use a range of media to address questions of sexuality, memory, and the formation of queer consciousness.
Their performance work Timelining was included in Storylines: Contemporary Art from the Guggenheim, June through September 2015. Solo exhibitions have been held at the New Museum (2015); The Kitchen, (2014); and Kate Werble Gallery, NY (2013).
Their work was included in the Made in LA 2014 biennial at the Hammer Museum, Los Angeles, and received the 2014 Juried Bessie Award. Their current project, Modern Living takes place at the Schindler House in Los Angeles and the Glass House in New Canaan, CT. More info >
