INSTALLATION

RELAY

Relay is an installation that transforms a given space into a polychromatic sundial. Composed of tinted strips of vinyl custom scaled and distributed within a built environment, Relay articulates the movement of light as it travels across floors and walls. In the most recent realization of Relay, a commision for Powder Mountain in Utah, Gerard & Kelly clad a ski carpet canopy with a spiral of color that skiers traverse on their way up the hill.
