TRANSCRIPTS
Each work in the Transcripts series is a pair of twin copper sheets bearing fragments of the artists’ own chronologies from their performance artwork Timelining, embossed in Braille. The title of each work includes a translation of the imprinted text. The pieces of each diptych are installed in spatial relationships that permutate: side-by-side, leaned against the wall, one on top of the other. When visitors touch the mirror-polished metal, they leave fingerprints behind, marking the work with their own bodies.
